If you have been following us for a while, you may know that Tokyo Disney may be our most favorite place in the world. Everything there is just so cute (Kawaii), and the parks themselves are so different from what we have in the U.S. The merchandise is no exception to the adorableness that you can find in Tokyo. We spent waaaaaay too much money on merchandise, but hey, you never know when you’re going to come back.
Gelatoni 3 Way Bag:
Gelatoni, an Italian painter cat friend of Duffy, and probably our favorite of the four Duffy friends. They sell this bag in DisneySea, and it can arranged in 3 different ways, so you can have a crossbody, backpack, or handbag. Plus, look at that face…who could say no that face?
Popcorn Buckets:
Popcorn is a big deal at TDR, and there are many different popcorn flavors around the parks, each with a different popcorn bucket. These buckets are making their way over to the States, but they still don’t compare to what you can get in Tokyo. We picked two to bring back with us. Brianne got the Duffy one, and Kevin got Buzz Lightyear (in preparation for Toy Story Land).
Duffy Popcorn Bucket – filled with Milk chocolate flavored popcorn
Buzz Lightyear Popcorn Bucket – filled with Tomato Herb popcorn
Ridiculous character shirts:
Okay, these shirts. They are so insanely crazy, yet so popular in the parks and they come in in a bunch of different movies. We already had a few but theres still a few more we needed to get. Namely, this Toy Story one which all four of us bought (again… Toy Story Land prep), and Brianne had to get this Winnie the Pooh one, for any time she meets Piglet IRL.
Fun Headwear:
Kevin only knew of two things he wanted to buy during this trip; the Buzz Lightyear popcorn bucket, and this Rex hat. Again, another ridiculous purchase, but just so “necessary.” Even his little body hangs off the back of the head.
These big Minnie bow headbands are just as popular in Tokyo as Mickey ears. They have a ton of colors, and they’re so kawaii.
Duffy’s Heartwarming Days:
The seasonal event, “Duffy’s heartwarming Days” was a celebration in DisneySea with the most adorable Duffy decorations, themed food items, and merchandise.
This little plate came as a souvenir with a Duffy themed dessert that we got. It’s small and adorable and Brianne uses it as a jewelry dish.
We also got this ice cube tray/ chocolate mold. Because why not have Duffy and friends shaped ice at home?!
Stationary:
We’ve been Bullet Journaling this year and purposely waited to get a bag for our pens until we got to Tokyo Disney. Brianne got this Gelatoni bag and Kevin got the cutest little Slinky Dog bag.
These little Green Alien notepads are replicas of the dumplings we love so much, so these were an impulse buy!
And the rest of the stationary! Some of the non-Disney items were purchased in the city at an amazing store called “Tokyu Hands.”
Chandu:
One of the cutest little things we got was this Chandu. Chandu has his own ride at DisneySea, and it’s impossible not to fall in love with him!
This pin was our prize for playing one of the arcade games in the Arabian Coast area of DisneySea. Just for playing, everyone gets a pin, but if you win then you get a bigger prize. We didn’t win, but all we really wanted was this Chandu pin so we were happy!
Keychains:
These are really special because our friend from Tokyo was sweet enough to get these for us around Christmastime and gave them to us when we met up in the parks. They are dressed in their Christmas best!
